Saltpixels are Jo Denison, commercial photographer, and Steffen Goeschel, commercial film maker and camera technician. We are based in Yorkshire, England. Our local spots are in the cold waters of the North Sea.

Our Motivation

Taking pictures in and around water is a deeply satisfying process. It’s tricky, it can be hard work, sometimes it might even be a little dangerous. But it’s all the more rewarding the more effort you have to put in.

We love photography and we love surfing. We feel lucky that we can combine the two in our lives!

Above all, we are excited about the adventures to which water photography will take us and the people we will meet on the way.
